PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Residential aftercare services including relapse prevention, group and individual counseling, life skills training, parenting classes, co-educational relationship issues classes, transportation to and from AA/NA meetings. Must have been treated for alcohol and/or drug addictions within previous year, 18 years of age and older, 72 hours alcohol/drug free, be employable. May not be taking mood-altering drugs.

The House of Grace offers a Transitional Housing Program for men and women with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse issues and mental illness. The House of Grace also offers a Women’s Reunification Program for women and children. These programs last from 1 to 2 years.
The mission of the House of Grace is to provide a safe and supportive environment while improving the quality of life for homeless single men and women with substance abuse issues who are living with HIV/AIDS. The House of Grace, Inc. offers the following Substance Abuse classes and therapy groups:
• Relapse prevention 32 modules (16 Week), certificate given after completion
• Aftercare group weekly
• Women’s S.A. Issue therapy group
• Men’s S.A. issue therapy group
Admission Criteria:
• Must be medically certified HIV positive.
• Must be Medicaid eligible in North Carolina.
• Must be in need of case management services.
• Must be willing to actively participate in a Case Management Plan.

PROGRAMS OFFERED:
REBOUND is the men's division of Charlotte Rescue Mission. It provides a 90-day recovery program for men. It also offered a family program, aftercare program. Relapse prevention, group and individual counseling, 12-step work, spiritual direction, addiction education. There is generally no cost for the recovery program. Call for a screening interview.

PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Dove's Nest is the women's division of the Charlotte Rescue Mission…a member of the International union of Gospel Missions. Dove's Nest focus is on women that are homeless or about to be, due to chemical dependency. Clients participate in a 13 week BIBLE study that helps them heal emotional wounds through Biblical perspectives. 12-step studies from Biblical perspectives and the disease concept are also studied. Dysfunctional family development, co-dependency abuse issues and women's issues are also addressed. A program is offered for the family. Minimum length of stay is 97 days. There is generally no cost for the program. Clients must be able to pass a drug test upon admission.

PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Spiritual guidance, work therapy, NA/AA meetings inside and out, spiritual counseling, recreation, room and board, and clothing. An interview is necessary. Must have a drug/alcohol problem, state identification, social security card, etc. Must have no medical or legal obligations that need care outside the program for first 90 days, no major disabilities (work therapy program is emphasized).

PROGRAMS OFFERED:
Emergency shelter, food, clothing, transitional (long term) shelter with plans for independence, access to other resources (medical and dental clinics, etc.), counseling, limited case management, job training, and placement assistance. Special program for work hardening, empowerment, education, and living skills training.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:
• Must be homeless male, 18 and older, sober, and able to take care or personal needs, physically able to evacuate building unassisted, free of disease or infection, which poses a clear and imminent risk to self or others.
• Priority for admissions: elderly, disabled. (including mentally ill) or other health problems, (temporary, new admissions, re-admissions….no more than three total admissions in a calendar year.)
• Referrals from outside agencies will be given priority when accompanied with treatment plan.
